Philadelphia talk radio veteran Mary Mason dies at 94

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Philadelphia talk radio veteran Mary Mason has died.

Mason started her career in 1958 as a gospel music radio host on the radio station WHAT.

Then in 1970, she began her talk program “Mornings with Mary.”

She became an established broadcaster, with listeners seeking her advice on a variety of local and national issues.

Mary Mason was 94.
