TUSCOLA, Ill. (WCIA) — The Douglas County Animal Shelter announced on Wednesday that they are currently not accepting more animals as they deal with a crowded space.
They said they have only five dog runs and eight cat kennels, all of which are occupied. Even their office area is full of rescues.
In the meantime, shelter staff asks those with stray animals to utilize social media to find their owners.
