New wildfire sparks in Summit County, dubbed Dikker Hill Fire

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — A new wildfire sparked east of Echo in Summit County on Wednesday afternoon.

Utah Fire Info posted on social media on Wednesday to say the Dikker Hill Fire — which was originally named the Bromley Canyon Fire — was estimated to be 10 acres and growing.

Utah Fire Info said air and ground resources were on the way to the fire. The public has been asked to avoid the area, and officials said the cause of the fire is under investigation.

There is no further information at this time.
