When a woman from London found a stray cat looking for food and a safe place to sleep near her home, she didn’t think twice before helping her. Now the cat has claimed her, and internet users can’t cope with their special bond.
In a viral TikTok video shared in November under the username @kikiascott, the stray cat can be seen hanging around the poster’s house, following her everywhere, trying to win her love by spending as much time with her as possible.
The poster, 26-year-old Kiki Scott, told Newsweek that Minnie has been living on her road for years, but she never knew she was a stray until earlier this summer, when she realized for the first time that the cat only ever slept outside.
“She was really dirty and never seemed to stay in one place. So I decided to start feeding her and named her Minnie. Months later she sleeps outside my house, under my porch roof in an outdoor house I bought her and I feed and look after her!”
In July, the poster began feeding Minnie after realizing that nobody was taking care of her, and the cat immediately trusted her.
Minnie now has her own little house outside Scott’s home, and is well looked after. Scott is currently in the process of making her an indoor cat, but because she already has one, she’s getting them accustomed first.
Because Minnie was a stray for so long, Scott is also having her checked by her veterinarian for health conditions, and she has set up a GoFundMe linked to her TikTok account to get help with the vet bills.
Letting your cats get to know each other well before bringing another feline home sets the basis for a wonderful relationship, and it’s what veterinarians suggest doing to avoid unnecessary tension in the house.

To begin, you must keep them separate for a few days, setting each cat their own space where they can isolate when needed. It should have everything they may need, food, water, toys, and litter-tray included.
Then it’s time to exchange their scents, which you can easily do by swapping blankets or toys, and letting each cat explore the other pet’s area while they’re not there. Once they’re familiar with each other’s smell, you can begin short face-to-face introductions.
